Violence RP; some suggestions.

Here are some simple RP tips, to keep your RP skills fresh and polished.

1.

Never, ever, EVER do something like:
Bob tackles Andrew from behind and robs him and finds 10000 dollars.
Bob says: (( KK i foundz0r 10k on u gimme teh cash now. ))

Now, I'll give you a list of reasons on why not to do so:

1. It's powergaming.
2. It leaves no chance for the other person to RP
3. It's metagaming as well, what if the other person simply doesn't have 10,000$?
4. It's crappy RP.
5. It shows your a baby who can't stand losing.

Here's HOW to do it:

Bob creeps up behind Andrew
Bob slowly gets into a tackling pose
Bob attempts to fly at the Andrew and tackles him.

Did you notice the attempts? You should attempt, not just go "MUAHAHAHHAHA I TACKLED YOU.", it allows the other person (Andrew) to do something.

Now, lets talk about what you should do if you were in Andrew's position. You should either go; *You did it*, or, you should do *You failed, because ....." (Where the .... is it's a statement why he failed). Now, we all know you love your cash and want to keep it, but for RP's sake, allow him to tackle you if he RP'd it well, and you didn't notice anything ICly. I know you guys will say "NONONONONO, ther izz 1 /knockout comand.", but still, don't allow commands to replace the RP. Allow him to take your cash, if he tackled you properly, and RP'd it well.

Now, the next subject; FEAR

Fear. It's something that always lacks on any RP server anywhere in the world. If you master the art of fear, you are an RPer at amazing levels. I myself have troubles RPing fear, because it's just so tough. Its tough because you're not afraid IRL, which reflects on what you do IC.

Lets get started; what would you do if you had a gun aimed at you? Would you run, or would you do what the person is asking from you? I'd go for option 2, because the chances are you won't die. Yes, yes, I know that you'll just spawn later, but you must RP that the chances are your life could end at the point. If you RP fear, you will get on my respect list so fast.. I'll give you an e-cookie. Now, here's some example on how to do it:

Bob is walking down the park.
Andrew comes up, pulls out a desert eagle and aims it at Bob.
Bob gets scared, and does what Andrew says.

How not to do it;

Bob is walking down the park.
Andrew comes up, pulls out a desert eagle and aims it at Bob.
Bob punches Andrew and runs away, not afraid to die.
